Mostly for dry food, hosts prefer to use wooden structures, because of this material it is possible to make a vessel of any desired dimensions, and the natural raw materials from which it is made will not harm the health of the geese.

- Ground - they are made from the barrel and turning the plastic pipe that is inserted into the holes cut in the barrel.

Materials
To make such a construction, you will need:
- plastic or metal barrel;
- hacksaw;
- plastic pipe sections with an angle of 90 °;
- hot melt glue
Instruction
The course of work looks like this:
- To start, make a markup on the barrel for the diameter of your pipe. The markings should be applied at the level of 30-40 cm from the bottom of the tank so that the goose would be comfortable getting the feed from such a height.
- Then take a piece of plastic pipe and cut them by the angle of rotation.
- Cut holes on the barrel to fit your pipe and insert its parts into the resulting holes.
- The edges of the resulting structure is insulated with hot melt. Thus the tube will not turn in the process of eating; hot melt glue will also reduce the risk of moisture ingress from the outside.
- For even better insulation from moisture feeding can be done metal or plastic canopies above the hole for food. It is better to make such a canopy at a distance of 10 cm from the top of the pipe edge.
- Put the geese food in the barrel and cover with the lid on top.

Feeding trough from a tree
The wooden container is suitable for feeding geese with hay and grass. In addition, with its use it becomes possible to save space for feeding, because it can be easily mounted on the wall of the barn.
Materials
You will need the following materials and tools:
- 4 wooden slats: 2 narrow and 2 wide;
- wooden plugs on the sides of the structure;
- wooden block along the length of the rails;
- nails;
- hammer.
Important! The length of the rails should be determined by the number of your geese: you will need 20 cm of wood for each individual.
Instruction
The sequence of works is as follows:
- Take a wide and narrow slats and build a box. The bottom of this box should stand at 90 ° edge for easy falling asleep.
- On the sides of the design, nail the plugs. At this stage, you get a kind of trough.
- On top of the plugs attach a wooden rail, which is necessary for the convenient movement of the feeder.
- Attach hangers to the back wall so that the tank can be placed on the wall.
- If you want to put the feeder on the ground, attach to the bottom two parallel boards on which it will stand.
