Sheep breeding is becoming increasingly popular due to the breeding of breeding individuals of various European breeds (suffolk, berkshaft). 
One of the largest sheep-breeding enterprises is Merino-Zapad, which is working to eliminate the sheep crisis in the country.
At the moment, the company breeds sheep of European breeds, because there are no Ukrainian species at all.
