Primorsky scientists brought a new species of bees

This was announced by the head of the beekeeping laboratory of the Federal Research Center for Agrobiotechnology of the Far East named after AK Chaika, Maxim Sharov.

The bee species is called "Far Eastern" and can produce 30% more honey than other species. It is possible to distinguish from other qualities of the species that the bee is rather frost-resistant and can tolerate the winter even in Siberia. This species of bees is already registered VNII. Scientists have received a patent for selective achievement in animal husbandry.
