When pickling cabbage is subjected to heat treatment, so the vitamins and minerals are not completely stored in the product. But most of the necessary substances during marinating is not destroyed and benefits the body.

How to pickle with garlic?

Classic recipe

The classic version of cooking pickled cabbage contains a minimal set of products. Marinated vegetable in a three-liter jar.

For cooking will require:

  • cabbage - 1 kg;
  • garlic - one small head.

For the marinade:

  • water for marinade - 1 l .;
  • vinegar - 2 tsp;
  • salt and sugar 2 tbsp. spoons.
    Prepare vegetables:

  1. Remove the upper leaves and rinse well, divide the head into sections and cut the stalk.
  2. Peel the garlic.
  3. Chop cabbage, grate garlic.
  4. Stir the vegetables and fold tightly into the jar.
  5. Prepare the marinade: boil a liter of water with the added salt, sugar and vinegar in an enamel saucepan.

  7. Marinate at room temperature for three days, then put in the fridge.
  8. Serve on the table, pre-seasoned with vegetable oil.

Fast cooking

It is convenient in that the cabbage is marinated in this way in just a short period of time, and therefore it is possible to serve the finished product to the table in a couple of hours.

For quick cooking delicious pickled cabbage will need:

  • one young head of cabbage;
  • three cloves of garlic;
  • one large carrot.

For the marinade:

  • litere of water;
  • a tablespoon of salt and sugar;
  • acetic acid (9% solution) one teaspoon;
  • four peppercorns and two bay leaves;
  • vegetable oil -100 ml.

Cooking process:

  1. Vegetables cut into small fine straws, garlic through a fine grater. Mix everything and put in a glass container.
  2. Cook the marinade, boil for no longer than three minutes and put to cool.
  3. Pour the cooled brine vegetables. Cover the jar with a lid and leave to stand at room temperature for up to two hours.

With carrots, beets
