There are only two companies in Ukraine that grow organic sugar beets. These are “Ritter Bio Agro” and “Deddens Agro”. The resulting crop is processed into organic sugar, the press service of the Gnidavsky sugar factory said.
In the hands of these two farms, about 4 thousand hectares of cultivated area were concentrated. In the near future, the companies plan to expand the land bank to 10 thousand hectares.

In 2017, organic sugar beet was first processed by the facilities of the Gnidavsky sugar factory into environmentally friendly sugar.
