In the Urals, born super-cool calves from a test tube

This is reported by the agricultural cooperative "Uralplemtsentr", which entered into an agreement with a Canadian company to remove super-milk calves from a test tube. On December 26, after the experiment, 9 calves and 12 steers were born.

Although similar experiments were conducted during the Soviet era, now they want to revive this idea in order to have more productive and profitable livestock for the cooperative. According to the chairman of the agricultural cooperative "SPAS" Alexander Popkov, on average, one Ural cow gives up to 6 thousand liters of milk per year, when in Canada the yield of one cow exceeds 19 thousand liters per year.

To confirm the over-profitability of such cows, the experiment will continue to be carried out on heifers and forecasts can be confirmed only a few years later.
