According to the document presented at the plenary meeting of the State Duma, a bill was passed on the collection of forest fruits. According to MPs, this will only benefit.
The project provides for the creation of special logging companies, in which later, people will take the collected berries, mushrooms and nuts and receive money for it. According to the deputies, similar actions to improve productivity in the country, because of the statistics for 2018, the operational capabilities of forest raw materials prevail for an estimate of 7.5 million tons with a real use of 3%. 
According to Nikolay Nikolayev, the head of the State Duma Committee on Natural Resources, the Forest Code of Russia, which allows the use of picking berries and mushrooms exclusively for non-commercial purposes, has a negative effect on the harvesting of forest goods. In case of adoption of the bill, it will come into effect on January 1, 2019.
