Agrarians of Bashkiria will be able to offset the costs of fertilizers with profits from the sale of grain. According to official data, prices in the mineral fertilizer market in the current year in Bashkiria have increased by 12-28%, depending on the type of fertilizer and the manufacturer.
Despite this, the demand for mineral fertilizers among Bashkir farmers is only growing rapidly. Agricultural producers of the Republic buy them more actively than in 2018.

Thus, as of March 12, the farms of Bashkiria purchased 16.442 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers, which almost doubled last year. According to official data, it follows from this that 27% of the need for fertilizers for spring sowing was purchased for stock. In the past year, the stock indices accounted for 14% of the need, and this figure was not exceeded. 
The data provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs states that such figures are due to high purchase prices for grain crops, compared to last year. This allows Bashkir farmers to acquire mineral fertilizers in the right quantities, referring to future profits, which will be able to fully cover the cost of top dressing.
